Baseline Data Visualisation
I was commissioned by Going To School to design the baseline data visualisations for the 'Outdoor School for Girls' programme.
The ‘Outdoor School for Girls’ program is digital skills, life skills, sustainable enterprise skills, STEM skills and football, delivered outside, in pitches, grounds allocated to government schools during school hours. The goal of the program is to equip girls with the skills they need to complete their education, solve for climate change at any grade level and transition from school to a sustainable enterprise of their choice. Through MOUs with state and city Governments, Going to School runs ‘The Outdoor School for Girls’ in Goa, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Raichur (North Karnataka).
The data visualisations cover the comparative findings of a baseline skills assessment of female students from grade 5 to 10 studying in government schools in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Raichur and Goa. A total of 11,143 girls were surveyed in the 4 cities across grades 5 to 10.
